Across 229 usable customer accounts that named a lock-change job and a pound amount, the median was £120 and the central 50% ran from £70 to £300. That spread is why the lock, security grade, fitting work and included keys need to be stated.

A stiff key, loose handle, poor alignment and a failed lock case are different problems. Diagnosis can show whether adjustment or a component repair is suitable before a complete replacement is priced.
