Review policy

Reviews should help a future customer understand a real locksmith job. Businesses cannot pay to improve the score or remove an approved review because it is negative.

What can be published

  • First-hand experienceThe reviewer must have hired, contacted or directly dealt with the business for the job described.
  • Specific and relevantThe review should explain the work, communication, price or outcome without unrelated allegations.
  • Honest positive or negative opinionBoth are welcome and use the same verification and moderation rules.
  • No incentives or review gatingBusinesses may invite every customer, but cannot reward only positive reviews or suppress criticism.

Moderation and disputes

We acknowledge review disputes and correction requests within five working days and aim to make an initial decision within ten working days. A page can show that a correction is pending while evidence is assessed.

  • VerificationWe may confirm the email, date, job details and supporting evidence before publication.
  • PrivacyPersonal data, access codes, vehicle identifiers and unnecessary third-party names are removed.
  • Business responseA business may respond and provide evidence without exposing the customer’s private details.
  • RemovalSpam, impersonation, threats, conflicts of interest and content that cannot be adequately substantiated may be rejected or removed.
  • Corrections and appealsEither party can ask for another review of a moderation decision and provide new evidence.
